SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- It's going to cost even more to fill up your tank. Gas prices in Syracuse rose five cents in the past week, averaging $3.86 per gallon. This is 20 cents higher than one month ago.

The national average also continues to go up, with an average of $3.55 per gallon. Analysts say that the weekend's winter storm helped flatten the rate at which prices increased.
