CENTRAL NEW YORK -- A LaFayette man has been accused of stealing some pricey gold coins and selling them in Syracuse.

Madison County Sheriff's deputies say Stefan Kuczynski, 25, broke into a Sullivan home back in January and stole five gold coins worth about $5,000.

Police were able to work with the owner of the shop Kuczynski allegedly sold them to in Syracuse. He is now charged with second degree burglary and third degree grand larceny.
