ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A teenager is in critical condition after a truck carrying cattle was hit by a car in Oneida County. It happened just after 7:30 a.m. on Route 365 in the Town of Floyd.

Police say Joseph Yagey, 17, of Rome was driving a Ford Taurus when he slid out of control and hit the box truck. His 16-year-old brother, Anusha, was taken to Upstate University Hospital with critical injuries.

The driver of the truck and his cattle were not injured. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
