ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A former volunteer assistant coach for the Mount Markham football team has pleaded guilty to second degree rape.

Fritz Barrett, 24, of Bridgewater was arrested last September. Officials did not release many details surrounding his arrest, but he was originally charged with second degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child.

Barrett will be sentenced in late March.
