Man arrested following home invasion, stabbing

AUBURN, N.Y. -- Auburn police have made an arrest after a man was stabbed during a home invasion.

Police responded to a home on Cross Street around 4:45 a.m. Friday where they found a 33-year-old man with multiple stab wounds. He was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say Anthony Zagoursky, 41, broke into the home and stabbed the victim. They believe the stabbing stems from an earlier argument between the two men.

Zagoursky is charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
