ITHACA, NY-- The Cornell women watched a double second half lead disappear before winning in dramatic fashion over Brown at Newman Arena Saturday night. The game winner went to Clare Fitzpatrick who scored and completed a three point play with just 6.7 seconds left to give the Red a two point lead. The final score was 60-58.
Fitzpatrick led the Red with 17 points. Stephanie Long had 15 and Shelby Lyman had 10.
For Brown, Sophie Bikofsky hit went 7 of 9 from three point range and had 21 points on the night to lead all scorers.
