ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Spring is right around the corner. So, many people will soon be pulling out the tools and starting those home improvement projects.

To get those ideas flowing, more than 150 vendors set up shop for the Home Show at Turning Stone Casino.

There were contractors, landscapers, and a variety of other home improvement specialists willing to answer any questions.

Now that the weather is about to start getting warmer, it's the perfect time to start making preparations.

Robert Kessler of R. Kessler and Associates says, "You want to look at the weather pattern. If the weather is going to be nice for a week and you have a project you want to do outside, try to plan it. Have it all ready to go, so all you have to do is pull the trigger."

Thousands of people attended the show. Many said it was a great way to learn about new renovation trends.
