The move comes after a mixed week for the Orange. SU lost to the rival UConn Huskies Wednesday, but recovered to beat Seton Hall on the road Saturday night.

Now, there are only three weeks left in the regular season. SU plays Providence at the Carrier Dome Wednesday night, and on Saturday there could be a record setting crowd in the dome, as Georgetown plays its final game in Syracuse as a Big East rival.

The Orange women are also ranked, they moved up to 21st in the women's poll.
