Domestic dispute in Utica leads to stabbing

UTICA, N.Y. -- Utica police arrested three people after a domestic dispute led to a stabbing. It happened at a home on the 1600 block of Neilston Street around 6:30 p.m. Monday.

Police say Danielle Williams, 27, stabbed her former partner as he tried to take their children from her home. William's parents got involved as well, with her father, Terry Williams, punching the victim at one point.

Her mother, Kim Williams, tried to drive away with the children but was chased down by police. Eventually, the children were turned over to the father.

All three suspects were arrested, with Danielle Williams getting the most serious charge of second degree assault.
