UTICA, N.Y. -- The man convicted of raping and killing a prostitute in Deerfield back in 2007 received his sentence Tuesday in Oneida County Court.
In November, Craig Ingersoll was convicted of second degree murder for the death of Jennifer Bennett, 29. Bennett was found strangled to death.
It took police five years to make an arrest in the case.
Ingersoll was sentenced to 25 years to life in prison.
