WAYNE COUNTY, N.Y. -- The search for a missing Wayne County teacher is still underway. Frederick Dunn, 48, has been missing since Wednesday night. Police say he left the North Rose-Wolcott School, where he was running a play practice for students, to run an errand. He left and never came back.

The search for Dunn has since been concentrated on the shoreline of Lake Ontario near Dutch Street in the Town of Huron. That's where officials found Dunn's abandoned car.
Water Rescue Technicians were called in on Friday.

Rick House, Wayne County Undersheriff said, "They've been doing a shoreline search for a distance of about a quarter mile each way, of the area here where Mr. Dunn's vehicle was located the other night. And there's an ice shelf right off the shoreline and they've been searching under that ice shelf."

United States Park Rangers plan to help in the search Saturday morning.
