Syracuse man arrested for driving in wrong direction
SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A Syracuse man is arrested for driving down two major roads in the wrong direction.
A police officer saw Kyari Tyson, 20, driving down Route 690 East in the wrong direction just before 7:30 Friday night. Onondaga County 911 then got a number of calls from drivers on 81 South who also saw the driver. An officer located Tyson while driving on the Northbound side, got out of his patrol car and went to the car.
Tyson appeared disoriented, and was taken into custody.
He was issued several tickets including Driving the Wrong Way on a One-Way, Driving While Ability Impaired by Drugs, and Unlicensed Operation.
