LIVINGSTON COUNTY, N.Y. -- Livingston County Sheriff's deputies arrest one of their own.

Robert Schleyer, 32 of Dansville, is charged with promoting prison contraband and receiving reward for official misconduct.

Schleyer worked as a deputy sheriff for corrections in the jail division. He's accused of bringing contraband into the jail and giving it to inmates.

Schleyer was with the sheriff's office for five years. He is free after posting $2,500 bail and is due back in court at a later date.
