SYRACUSE, N.Y. - For the third year in a row the Henninger and Proctor boys basketball teams will face off in the Section III, Class AA championship game after surviving their semifinal matchups on Saturday.
Proctor, the reigning champion and No. 4 seed, defeated top-seeded Fayetteville-Manlius 68-61 to earn its fourth-straight trip to the finals. Henninger, the No. 2 seed and 2011 champion, beat No. 6 West Genesee 67-54.
The Class AA final is next Sunday at the Carrier Dome.
