SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Gowns, flowers, and cake, it was all at the Syracuse Bridal and Prom Expo.

Vendors were at Embassy Suites in Carrier Circle Sunday, helping young couples plan for their big day.

Businesses were offering their services and a lot of advice.

"You need to create your own wedding, your own atmosphere, and have it be you. If you like golfing, make sure incorporate the golf theme into it. A lot of people now have bounce houses that are at weddings," said Renee McGrady, "I Do" Bridal Shop.

The expo ended with a bridal and prom gown giveaway.
