SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A known Syracuse gang member has been indicted on federal charges after police say he aimed a gun at two detectives last year.

Syracuse police say Terrell Wright, 28, was walking with his brother back in December when police attempted to pull over near them after recognizing Antwan Wright as a suspect in a recent crime. They say Terrell Wright pulled a loaded handgun out of his waistband and pointed it at the detectives.

Wright was arrested after leading detectives on a long foot chase then fighting with them. He is facing seven to 20 years in prison if convicted on all charges.
