Vigil held to remember Westhill HS senior killed in crash

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Family, friends and fellow classmates remember an 18-year-old girl who was killed in an early Saturday morning crash.

Syracuse Police said Anna Pullano drover her SUV into the path of a CENTRO bus on the 900 block of Comstock Avenue.

She was a student at Westhill High School. That's where a vigil was held to remember Anna's life. Dozens of people showed up Saturday night, lighting candles.

Her friends and classmates said that Anna will be missed by everyone at the school.

"She was just always happy. She was just always smiling. She just cared so much," said Westhill Student, Calen Monahan.

Before the vigil students were performing a production of "Footloose." Anna was friends with many of the cast and crew members.

Police said the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
