State Police are investigating a serious crash in western Delaware County.

Investigators say it happened around 7 p.m. Saturday on State Route 8, north of Deposit.

Police closed a 13-mile stretch of State Route 8, from Deposit to Masonville, while investigators looked into the crash. The re-enactment team was out determining the cause.

State Police say there were serious injuries in the crash, but haven't released the extent of those injuries, or how many people were hurt.
