HERKIMER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Frankfort man was killed in a snowmobile accident. It happened around 10:30 p.m. Saturday evening on the Jones Road trail in the Town of Ohio.

State Police said Scott Streeter, 47, was driving his snowmobile when he failed to round a curve, and was thrown from the snowmobile.

Streeter was pronounced dead at the scene. An investigation is continuing.
