LYONS FALLS, N.Y. -- There are no classes in session at the old Lyons Falls school in Lewis County, but that doesn't mean the building is empty.

This is cause for concern for some county officials.

The owner of the property is listed as Robert Rustad Syversen, who is living in the school with family members. While Syverson does own the property, it's apparently not up to code.

Lewis County Attorney Richard Graham said an inspection last year found several codes violations.

Graham said another inspection is expected to take place soon.
