SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- A teenage girl who robbed a Syracuse bank in early January has been sentenced to prison time.
Onondaga County Court officials say that Cheyenne Brandon, 17, will serve one and a third to four years behind bars for robbing the Alliance Bank on James Street.
Police say back on January 2nd, Brandon threatened the teller for money, but was tracked by an officer to Lincoln Park where she was taken into custody with the money still in hand. Investigators say no weapon was used in the robbery.
Brandon was sentenced as a youthful offender on a third-degree robbery charge.
