WEST POINT, N.Y. – The Colgate women's basketball team upset Army during the regular season and did it again in the postseason on Thursday, becoming only the the second No. 8 seed to beat a No. 1 since the Patriot League tournament began in 1991 with a 48-40 win in the quarterfinals.
Jhazmine Lynch led the way with a game-high 15 points while freshman Randyll Butler had nine points and 10 rebounds.
Colgate (10-20) will play at No. 4 Holy Cross in the semifinals on Monday.
