Two men arrested on drug charges
BINGHAMTON, N.Y. -- Two men were arrested on drug charges following a traffic stop in downtown Binghamton. Police searched the car during the traffic stop, which led to the arrests of Darnell Robinson and Antoine Lovejoy.
Authorities say they found Robinson in possession of 220 envelopes of suspected heroin, some marijuana and more than $5,000 in cash. They say Lovejoy had 79 envelopes and roughly $200 in cash.
Robinson is charged with unlawful possession of marijuana and both are charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance. They are currently being held at the Broome County Correctional Facility.
