SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- While they're in town, monster truck drivers are doing some good for the community.
Norm Miller, who drives the Batman monster truck, visited Syracuse's Golisano Children's Hospital Friday morning to read and talk to the kids. Miller says that the Monster Truck Show is enough to put you on the edge of your seat. Since Golisano's young patients can't make it to the show, he feels that bringing some of the excitement to them is a great way to put smiles on their faces.
"It's inspirational for me. I do this all for the families, the kids, that's the reason I do this. During the week I'm a police officer in Oregon, I'm a lieutenant there. So I go out there, I fight crime all week, and then on the weekends I get to put smiles on people's faces with this Batman truck," said Miller.
And don't forget, before the show is a Pit Party Sneak Peek, for kids and adults to get behind-the-scenes with the trucks.
