ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Lockheed Martin pulls in a multi-million dollar contract with the Department of Defense.
Senator Charles Schumer announced Friday that Lockheed's Liverpool location was awarded a $12 million contract.
The funding will help the company provide repairs and field support to the Q-53 radars that are currently being used by troops overseas troops.
Schumer said the funding will help support soldiers in quickly locating and avoiding various rocket threats.
