Man injured from pistol whipping

SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse police said a man injured someone by pistol whipping him.

According to detectives, the incident started early Saturday morning when several shots were fired near Lois's Lounge on South State Street.

When officers arrived, they found a man who was hit in the head by the pistol.

The victim was taken to Upstate University Hospital.

Landrous Hill, 21, is facing several charges including criminal possession of a weapon.

Police said Hill was the victim of a shooting himself two weeks ago.
