WASHINGTON D.C. -- It was a disappointing end to an era for SU basketball fans, as the Orange were crushed by their arch rivals, the Georgetown Hoyas.

The game in Washington was the final time the two teams are scheduled to meet as Big East rivals.

Next year, the Orange will move to the Atlantic Coast Conference. The 5th ranked Hoyas led by seven at halftime and quickly jumped to a huge lead to start the second half.

Now, the Orange will have to regroup for next week's Big East Tournament.
