CAYUGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- Another local newspaper is scaling back on delivery. On its website, the Auburn Citizen announced that starting on April First, it will no longer deliver newspapers on Mondays.
Publishers said Monday's paper is not getting enough advertising support. The company will continue to put information on its website auburnpub.com on Mondays.
Auburn Citizen leaders said the paper was a six days a week publication for many years, until it added Saturday delivery in 1999.
