ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Utica man is recovering after a snowmobile crash. It happened on Hinkley Reservoir in the Town of Remsen Sunday.

Sheriffs deputies said Matthew Rothwell, 27 of Utica, was thrown from his snowmobile and knocked unconscious.

He was taken to Saint Luke's Hospital and treated for his injuries.

Deputies charged Rothwell with operating a snowmobile while intoxicated and imprudent speed.
