TOMPKINS COUNTY, N.Y. -- A guilty plea for one of the two men charged in an Ithaca homicide back in December of 2011.

The Tompkins County District Attorney said Gary Lowe pleaded guilty to first degree manslaughter.

Lowe and codefendant Lawrence Beauford were arrested in the drug related robbery and shooting death of Francisco Santiago, 25. Lowe agreed to a plea deal of 15 years in prison.

The DA's office said Beauford is expected to plead guilty to conspiracy. That carries a maximum of four years in prison.

Beauford will be in court on Tuesday.
