SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Despite the fact that the injury will likely leave him blind in one eye, you'd never be able to tell that by his attitude.

As soon as Thomas Dotterer was released from the hospital, he said he'd be back on the field in no time. And with Monday being the team's first practice, he hasn't even skipped a beat.

The 77-year-old was shot back on January 23rd during a robbery at his liquor store and was back at work there two weeks later.

Dotterer has been the coach at CBA for decades and he's glad to be on the field.

The two men accused of the robbery have been indicted on a number of charges, including attempted murder, assault and robbery.
