SU women knocked out of Big East tournament

CONNECTICUT -- While the SU men's basketball team gears up for its final Big East Tournament, the Syracuse women are now looking toward the NCAAs.
The Orange women wrapped up a highly successful Big East Tournament Monday, with a tough loss in the semifinals to U-Conn.
SU lost 64 to 51, but stayed within reach of the Huskies for almost the entire game.
The latest predictions have Syracuse as a seventh seed in the NCAA tournament. They're currently ranked 22nd in the country.
Meanwhile the men's team starts its Big East run Wednesday at 2 p.m. They've lost four of five games coming in, and are now 19th in the country.
