SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The entertainment for this summer's Taste of Syracuse event has been announced.
Organizers say for the first time in the event's history, two national bands will be joining the line-up on the main stage.
Central New York's biggest food and music festival brings in more than 150,000 people each year and this year's fest will be June 7th and 8th.
For the entertainment, southern rockers The Marshall Tucker Band will perform on the main stage the 7th. And on the 8th, classic rockers Loverboy will take the Blues, Brews and BBQ stage.
Organizers say the entertainment isn't the only thing festival-goers can look forward to, but also all of the one dollar samples and various food vendors, old and new.
"That's to me what really makes it fun. To make it a combination of old favorites, but new, exciting things. You come and you want to see the familiar and you always know Bonefish is here and you're going to get your Bang Bang Shrimp, but then it's like a treasure hunt. What's new and where can you find it?" said Pam Levine, Taste of Syracuse organizer.
