ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- If you want to make some home improvements or just looking for ideas, then the Home and Garden Show is just for you! It's already underway.

There's a lot to learn with nearly 400 vendors filling the Center of Progress Building, so you're encouraged to wear comfortable shoes.

Visitors can learn about renewable energy, universal design among other things. Organizers say you can get of your planning done with just one stop this weekend.

Home Builders and Remodelers of CNY Executive Officer Mary Thompson said, "Bring in pictures of your kitchens and talk to the different vendors. Then you can get multiple ideas, multiple bids and make multiple appointments all at once."

On Saturday the show is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Sunday it is open from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. It's sponsored by Time Warner Cable, YNN's parent company.
