CENTRAL NEW YORK -- A one of a kind ambulance will soon be hitting the streets of Central New York. And it's all thanks to a partnership between WAVES Ambulance and Drivers Village.

This special ambulance was unveiled in a dedication ceremony Saturday as a surprise for Carol Baldwin. Organizers thought it was a great way to thank her for all the work she has done through her breast cancer foundation. For those involved, it was a touching tribute.

"I love it. I love it. It was such a shock. I mean, I can't tell you how much it means to me," said Carol Baldwin, Carol M. Baldwin Foundation.

"To see something, and to have something visible to the eye that we know is something we can see as a memory, that we're getting there, that people are aware of our foundation, and how much we are doing for our community, it's just a wonderful thing," said Jacqueline Baldwin, Carol M. Baldwin Associate Director.

The ambulance will be one of four in WAVES regular rotating fleet.
