ONEIDA COUNTY, N.Y. -- State Police are trying to figure out what caused a tractor trailer crash that killed a Philadelphia man Friday in Oneida County.

It happened at about 1:30 Friday afternoon on State Route 26 in the Town of Lee.

State Police said the tractor trailer went off the road and hit the guardrail before crashing into a culvert.

The driver, Darren McCullum, 49, was the only person in the truck at the time of the accident.

He was pronounced dead at the scene
