SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- The Syracuse University Orange are heading to the west coast, to start their NCAA tournament run, one they hope will be a long one.

The Orange will take on the 13-seeded University of Montana on Thursday in San Jose as the fourth seed in the east region.

The Grizzlies play in the Big Sky Conference and made the NCAA's by winning their conference tournament.

SU improved its seed playing well in the Big East tournament, beating Pittsburgh and Georgetown before losing to Louisville Saturday night.
