MADISON COUNTY, N.Y. -- Maple syrup season is in full swing, and Critz Farms in Cazenovia is celebrating with several weeks of events.
Sunday, visitors got a chance to try maple syrup and see how it's made. There were also wagon rides and a petting zoo. Their special "all you can eat" breakfast features all those maple syrup products Critz Farms makes on site. It's all part of their yearly celebration.
"You know, the breakfast revolves around different things made with maple syrup. And then here in our winery, we do just hard ciders; but, three of our hard ciders have maple syrup in them. So, we're a little bit maple in every spot,” said Matthew Critz, owner of Critz Farms.
The maple syrup celebration will continue next Saturday and Sunday, and the following Saturday, as well. The farm is closed on Easter Sunday.
