SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Syracuse Police have identified the man who was killed on the city's west side. Police say LaJuan Williams, 33, was found shot inside his Essex Street home around midnight. He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Detectives are still looking into the circumstances surrounding the shooting, and have not released many details about what happened.

They are looking for the public's help in the investigation. Anyone with information is asked to call Syracuse Police at 442-5222.
