ONONDAGA COUNTY, N.Y. -- A chain reaction crash in Clay ended up sending three people to the hospital. It happened just before 6:30 p.m. Tuesday on Soule Road.

The Onondaga County Sheriff's department says Heather Watkins, 30, from North Syracuse, didn't realize that traffic was stopped on the road. The SUV she was driving slammed into the back of another SUV and the reaction went up the line.

Four cars were damaged and three people were hurt, although none of the injuries were life threatening.

Watkins was issued several tickets.
