SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- This is the second year in a row that the SU men's basketball team is entering the tournament with some controversy attached to them.

A CBS-sports report says the organization is looking into a wide range of possible violations. That report says the school has received a preliminary inquiry.

Last March, Yahoo Sports reported that SU was being investigated for violating its own drug policies.

In a news conference in San Jose Wednesday night, coach Boeheim's comments were limited.

"Same story that they had last year at this time. I guess that's the annual… I guess next year we'll get it again. (Reporter) Are you aware of the school receiving a notice of allegations? (Boeheim) I just made my comment"
