CHENANGO COUNTY, N.Y. -- Two women are accused of submitting false time sheets to the Department of Social Services.

Chenango County Sheriff's Deputies said Amey Suwarrow, 28 of South New Berlin, and Gertrude Bullock, 64 of Mount Upton, were submitting false time sheets for daycare assistance.

Officials said they collected more than $12,000 in overpayment from November 2010 to April 2012.

They are both charged with third degree welfare fraud, and one count of false instrument for filing.
