SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- Police make an arrest after finding drugs and a stolen gun in an illegally parked car in Syracuse.
Two officers spotted the car parked illegally on block 300 of Catawba Street around 11 Friday night.
When they approached the vehicle, they saw what appeared to be crack cocaine on the lap of Shaeem Grady, 27.
Officers said Grady refused an order to exit the vehicle and tried to get into the center console as he struggled with them.
According to investigators, there was a loaded nine millimeter gun that had been reported stolen in that center console.
Grady now faces felony weapon and drug charges, along with misdemeanor counts of drug possession, resisting arrest, and a harassment violation.
Two other people in the vehicle do not face charges.
