Teen killed in hit and run accident

WAYNE COUNTY, N.Y. -- State Police in Lyons are investigating a fatal hit and run accident in the town of Palmyra. Police say it happened Sunday night just after 8:00 along Hogback Road.
State police say Matthew Bray, 17, of Palmyra was riding his bike on Hogback Road just after 8:00 p.m. when a vehicle hit him from behind. The vehicle then fled the scene.
Police say Anibal Fontanez turned himself in two hours later in Newark. Fontanez was arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter, driving while intoxicated, driving without a license, leaving the scene of a fatal accident and other charges.
Grief counselors were made available at Palmyra Macedon High School Monday after the death of the former student was reported. The Palmyra Macedon principal's office says Bray was a student at the school for a brief time but dropped out in October.
