STEUBEN, N.Y. -- A Syracuse couple is hurt in a crash in the Town of Steuben. Oneida County sheriff's deputies say it happened Monday along Route 12.

Deputies say Hyun Kim, 52, lost control of his car, hit a guard rail in the center median and then went off the road and hit some trees. Emergency workers had to cut Kim and his passenger out of the car.

Kim was taken to the hospital for treatment.
