Mariah Carey's comeback is complete. She's tied for the lead in Grammy nominations with eight, including album of the year for "The Emancipation of Mimi." John Legend and Kanye West also have eight nominations.

West is also competing for album of the year along with U2, Paul McCartney and Gwen Stefani.

The nominees for record of the year are "We Belong Together" by Mariah Carey, "Feel Good Inc." by Gorillaz featuring De La Soul, "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" by Green Day, "Hollaback Girl" by Gwen Stefani and "Golddigger" by Kanye West.

The nominees for best new artist are Ciara, Fall Out Boy, Keane, John Legend and Sugarland.

Winners will be announced February 8 in Los Angeles.
