LEWIS COUNTY, N.Y. -- Attendance at Beaver River Central in Lewis County seems to be slowly climbing back to normal. Only 297 students were out of school Wednesday after 335 were sick Tuesday.
The district has an enrollment of just over 900. Many of the students complained of flu-like symptoms. There is some concern it's the H1N1 virus.
The school scheduled a forum for parents to learn more about what's going on for Wednesday night.
