Scattered Showers/Thunder Today
Warmth and Some Humidity Later this Week
A cold front will slowly push through the region today with limited sun and scattered showers and thundershowers. Temperatures will be cooler, although still quite mild with highs in the mid 70s. Tonight any showers will end early with areas of fog developing. Lows will be in the mid to upper 50s.
A weak area of high pressure will build in tomorrow with most remaining dry. Morning clouds and fog will give way to a good amount of sun by afternoon. Still one or two odd showers can’t be ruled out, especially for areas furthest south and east. Highs will be well into the 70s to near 80.
A warm front will lift to our north on Thursday bringing a return to very warm temperatures but also some humidity. While most will remain dry, a pop-up type thundershower can’t be ruled out. Highs will be in the mid 80s. There will be a better chance for a few scattered showers and thunderstorms late Friday into Friday night. Highs Friday will be well into the 80s.
The holiday weekend is looking very warm with some unsettled weather, but no washouts.
Have a great day!
