SYRACUSE, N.Y. -- SU football star Arthur Jones has apparently decided not to play in this weekend's Senior Bowl, college football's premiere all-star game. A source in Alabama confirmed for News 10 sports Tuesday night that Jones is not in attendance at Senior Bowl practice this week and his name does not appear on either team's roster.
The former U-E football star was a two-time All-Big East selection at Syracuse, finishing his career with 38.5 tackles for a loss.
Jones also suffered a knee injury late in his final season and missed the Orange last three games. He has been projected as a potential first-round pick in April's NFL Draft.
