WHITESBORO, N.Y. -- The Whitesboro Warriors whipped Watertown 40-14 Friday night in a rematch of the 2010 Section III Class A Championship game.

Playing without starting tailback Steve Almond and two-way threat Connor Passalacqua because of injuries, Whitesboro also lost starting quarterback Adam Eberle to another injury in the first half.

But backup running back Matt Felitto ran for 129 yards and three touchdowns to help Whitesboro (6-0) clinch at least a share of the division title heading into their season finale against rival New Hartford next week.
